My daughter LOVES to have her hair done. Ok, let me clarify. She doesn’t actually like the process of having it done, but she likes her hair to look cute and is always asking “what are we doing with my hair today?”
There are quite a few blogs out there that have some great ideas and tutorials that I get a lot of inspiration from. Check out my Pinterest board HERE to see some of my favorites!
Now, back to my post…..
This is a style I decided to try out one day and the little lady got so many compliments on it! You’d be surprised at how easy it is, so I thought I’d share it for all you momma’s who have little girls.
Start out with parting the hair down the middle.
Next, secure one side loosely with a hair tie, and work with the other side. Split that section into two pieces, using about 1/3rd of the hair and securing it loosely.
Once you get to the bottom of your braid, undo the small section of hair and tuck it into your braid. Secure the entire section tightly with a hair tie.
Repeat the process on the opposite side.
Finish your style off by curling your ponytails and adding your favorite bows.
And there you have it! An inside out French braid variation. You could also take the ponytails and wrap them up into little messy buns, which we have done as well. If you even feel a bit adventurous, braid a ribbon into your braids to add a little color. Just have fun with it!
